AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE
As of June 17, 2020 Connecticut's Phase 2 business re-opening allows massage therapists to resume practice within specified limitations and restrictions.
The Center for Living Well Therapies is a bodywork practice comprised of licensed professionals with collective experience of over eight decades. We continually strive to provide the highest quality of service and care to help our clients achieve their health goals through a holistic approach free of invasive procedures and medications.

Because when and how to return to practice is a personal decision to be made by each of our practitioners, ours will be a gradual re-opening for business over the course of the next several weeks. As our staff members return to work, clients can expect limited scheduling in order to maintain social distancing from other clientele and to accommodate the additional time needed to prepare treatment rooms between clients. If you are an existing client, please contact your practitioner directly for details regarding schedule availability. If you are new to our practice, please call us at 203.778.4544 to arrange for the first available appointment.

MASSAGE & COVID-19
In the aftermath of weeks, if not months, of sheltering-in-place and social distancing due to
COVID-19, a visit to a massage therapist will be a somewhat different experience than we all have known in the past. In an earnest effort to keep practitioners and clients safe from infection, enhanced and stringent practice protocols, as recommended by both the CDC and the State of Connecticut, are now in place. It describes what you can expect from our practitioners and what we will expect of you. Strict adherence by both practitioners and clients is essential.

PAYMENT FOR SERVICES
Payment is due at the time of service. Not all of our practitioners accept credit cards at this time. Payment may be made with U.S. currency or your personal check drawn from a local bank. Some health insurance plans reimburse for therapeutic massage. We do not process claims for insurance reimbursement nor do we accept insurance assignment. If you intend to have your health insurance provider cover the cost of our services, upon payment in full from you, we will provide you with a Statement of Services which you can submit to your insurance provider for direct reimbursement.
CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOWS
Life happens; we get that. Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to keep your appointment. If you fail to appear for an appointment that you have not previously cancelled or rescheduled, after the third occurrence, we will not be able to schedule you for future sessions. If you fail to appear for an appointment for which a gift certificate is being redeemed, the gift certificate will be considered redeemed.
BEING LATE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT
We often schedule sessions consecutively, so we urge you to be prompt, as we are not able to extend your session beyond your scheduled time. In the event you are late for your appointment, the full fee or value of gift certificate covers your scheduled session length or any portion thereof.
We reserve the right to cancel a session if alcohol or recreational drug use is evident, if we feel your conduct is inappropriate, or if we believe the session would be contraindicated by a qualified health care program.
Gift certificates are available for any of our services or for any dollar amount toward services.
